I am here to support you in your journey.
WHAT I DO
I offer individual and relationship coaching for those impacted by major life transitions, losses and life events, as well as feelings of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and general discontent in their personal or professional lives. Whether you are in need of support due to a specific concern or you are struggling personally, in a relationship or professionally, my practice aims to help you achieve growth and satisfaction.

My coaching practice offers a safe, present-focused space for non-judgmental support. I collaborate with my clients to identify their unique issues and explore the causes behind the challenges impacting their well-being and happiness. Through increasing awareness and clarifying values, my clients learn to identify the patterns and behaviors they are engaging in that are taking them away from their goals and desired outcomes. Through this process, my clients learn to empower themselves by making intentional choices and choosing actions that are in line with the way they want to be living. Setting them up to successfully navigate transitions and stages of life to come.
No matter what the specific challenge is that led you to my site, I am here to help... offering an experienced perspective, guidance, resources, and support along the way.
MY APPROACH
With the mental health field becoming more medically oriented rather than people-oriented, I strive to be people-oriented. My practice focuses on coaching people to set up their lives in a way that suits them rather than assigning a mental health diagnosis that may not be a true reflection of their challenges or specific needs.
My approach with every client is to create a safe space where a variety of experiences can be explored with compassion and curiosity. I believe it is each person's unique environment, routines, and relationships that impact their day-to-day mental health. Together we will define your challenges and find strategies and tools for navigating your life in a way that feels authentic to you and your specific needs and will improve your overall happiness and well-being.

I have a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and over a decade of experience supporting clients on their journeys. I am located in Lafayette, California, but am lucky to be working with clients remotely all over the country. I am non-judgmental, compassionate, and holistic in my approaches and solutions. My sessions aim to assist my clients in gaining insight and increasing self-awareness, allowing them to address patterns and behaviors that may be causing distress and overall dissatisfaction in their lives.
Through this process, my clients are able to make choices that are more reflective of the lives they want to be living. Our awareness of choice and freedom of choice is our power. It is my desire to help my clients learn to empower themselves through the many transitions and stages of their lives.

My theoretical orientation is anchored in my appreciation for positive psychology, existential and humanistic philosophies and narrative therapy. Coaching is not a one size fits all process. I will meet you where you are at, respect your decisions regarding how you want to spend time in our sessions, and collaborate with you every step of the way.
What My clients are saying...
"I highly recommend Dana if you need help with your ongoing development. Dana is a consummate professional. Diverse training and knowledge to coach any need, a true leader and coach. I have nothing but really great things to say about her methods and professionalism.
